Job summary

Shambaugh & Son, L.P. seeks a Fire Protection Sales Representative to grow our Fire Protection division across Central Illinois. This role combines sales, business development, estimating, and customer relationship management to deliver solutions for contractors, facility owners, and industrial customers.

You will conduct site visits, prepare estimates and proposals, and work with operations to ensure project success from concept to completion, building long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fire alarm sales experience preferred.
• NICET in fire alarm systems preferred.
• Experience with FIKE, Edwards and Notifier systems preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and contractors in office and at job sites.
• Build and manage sales for the Fire Protection division.
• Develop sales strategy and communicate offerings to customers.
• Close sales to exceed objectives and develop new business.
• Estimate small and large projects and prepare proposals.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure project success.
