McKinstry in Washington State is seeking an Account Executive for our Fire Protection division. You will acquire new customers, nurture existing relationships, and prepare budgets and proposals with clear scopes based on customer specs and schedules.

You will also lead pricing, coordinate between customers and the construction team, and provide ongoing project leadership and risk-aware guidance throughout the life cycle. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fire Protection systems required.
• 2+ years of sales leadership/closing experience in fire sprinkler industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and cloud-based software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, and proposals.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Able to interpret RFP packages including drawings and specifications.
• Identify and communicate risks related to project type, customer/GC, schedule and market trends.
• Skilled in negotiation, active listening, rapport building and conflict resolution.
