Job summary

McKinstry is seeking an experienced Service Manager - Fire Protection to lead our Fire Protection Service Department in Seattle, WA. You will oversee day-to-day operations of Service and Inspection teams, drive growth, ensure customer satisfaction, and collaborate with field supervision, service coordinators, and customers to deliver exceptional service.

• Five (5) years of experience in the fire sprinkler, fire alarm, or construction industry preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• High emotional intelligence and maturity.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with Service Customers and Service Department team members.
• Drive department growth and operational efficiency by addressing inspection deficiencies, repair opportunities, and new customer development.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinators to ensure scheduling, invoicing and collections are efficient.
• Oversee material ordering, tracking, and delivery to Field Service staff for timely project completion.
• Coordinate Field Labor with Field Superintendent and Inspection Coordinator for staffing and scheduling.
• Mentor and develop Service Department staff; promote McKinstry's Put People First value.
• Lead day-to-day operations with thoughtful leadership.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the branch manager.
