Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a Fire Protection Sales Representative to grow our Fire Protection division across Central Illinois, including Peoria and surrounding areas. You will develop new business, manage customer accounts, visit sites, and prepare estimates and proposals for fire protection solutions.

The ideal candidate has sales experience in construction, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, or electrical sectors, with a focus on building long-term relationships and driving growth.

Qualifications

• 3 years of fire alarm sales experience
• NICET in fire alarm systems preferred
• Experience with FIKE, Edwards and Notifier
• Ability to read blueprints and NFPA codes

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and contractors in office and job sites
• Build and manage sales for the division
• Estimate small and large projects
• Develop new business relationships and grow the Fire Alarm business
• Prepare proposals and support project execution
