Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking a Fire Protection Sales Professional to develop design-build opportunities, prepare estimates, review documents, and nurture owner, contractor, and end-user relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

You will assess customer needs, deliver customized fire protection solutions, and manage take-offs, proposals, and backlogs while coordinating with engineers and field teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire protection, construction, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, or related industry experience.
• Experience with estimating, bidding, take-offs, and proposal preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of design-build project environments.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with AutoSPRINK or Hydrotech software.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, and key decision-makers
• Identify customer needs and create customized fire protection solutions
• Review construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Complete detailed take-offs, estimates, and proposal packages
• Perform hazard analysis and value engineering for design-build projects
• Manage and maintain a healthy proposal and bid backlog
