Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Alarm Systems Executive who will guide customers through estimating and proposal processes, blending field assessments with office-based pricing. No prior fire protection experience is required, but curiosity, confidence, and people skills are essential to succeed.

You will work with internal teams to build accurate proposals, communicate effectively with customers, and grow by learning technical details while maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Formal sales experience beyond retail or hospitality.
• Willingness to learn in a technical environment.
• Proficiency with email, word processing, and spreadsheets.
• Ability to adopt CRM platforms, ticketing software, and industry tools.
• People-oriented approach with strong organization and follow-through.
• Competitive, resilient, and able to manage complex bids.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers, conduct site surveys, and gather accurate measurements and system information.
• Build estimates, proposals, and preengineering solutions for fire protection projects.
• Review construction documents and coordinate with general contractors and internal teams.
• Collaborate with project management, design, and field ops to ensure accurate proposals.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through calls, emails, and meetings.
• Spend time in the field to understand system conditions and pricing.
• Office time for estimates and proposals (about 70%) with some customer interactions.
