Job summary

W3Global in Austin, TX is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager for commercial construction to lead project planning, scheduling, and field coordination. The role requires strong leadership, safety and quality focus, and the ability to manage subcontractors and a field crew; CAD or FieldHub experience is a plus, and OSHA 30-hour certification is often required.

Qualifications

• Construction Management/Engineering degree or equivalent in project management.
• 2+ years of project management experience.
• Fire sprinkler fitting experience is required.
• Willing to pass background checks and drug test.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee project planning, scheduling, and problem solving.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, GC/owner.
• Develop initial project schedules.
• Ensure safety, quality, and profitability.
• Manage field labor and monitor crew hours.
• Report progress and modify plans as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
• Administer contracts and payment requests.
