Job summary

Western States Fire Protection Company is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer and Project Manager to design, coordinate, and manage sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. You will create finished representations using CAD tools and handle initial project planning including schedules, material lists, and change management.

The role requires controlling project timelines, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring quality and safety standards across all phases.

Qualifications

• Construction Management degree or equivalent technical degree.
• NICET certification required (In Training or Level I-IV).
• Minimum 3 years fire sprinkler design and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents and coordinate with subcontractors and GC/owner to gather sprinkler design data.
• Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD/AutoSprink/HydraCAD.
• Develop material stock lists and perform hydraulic calculations.
• Schedule preliminary project work and manage staffing across projects.
• Monitor project cost, schedule, and labor to meet goals.
• Lead field personnel and ensure compliance with codes and permits.
