Job summary

Western States Fire Protection is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager and Designer to design, coordinate and manage sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. You will create detailed drawings using AutoCAD, AutoSprink, or HydraCAD and oversee scheduling, material lists, changes, and project execution.

This role requires a Construction Management degree or equivalent, NICET certification, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Construction Management degree or equivalent from a technical school or college.
• NICET certification required, In Training or Level I–IV certified.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoSprink, HydraCAD or similar fire sprinkler layout software.
• Three years of construction industry experience with fire protection knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Review construction documents and coordinate with contractors to design sprinkler systems.
• Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD, AutoSprink, or HydraCAD.
• Develop material stock lists and perform hydraulic calculations.
• Monitor project progress, schedule, and budget to ensure profitability.
• Lead field teams and ensure compliance with codes and permits.
