Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Fire Protection Project Engineer to support field operations on industrial projects and work with the Project Manager to meet customer goals. You will ensure material availability, schedules, and documentation are accurate and timely.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering background with 1–3 years in construction, proficiency in MS Office, and knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD or similar tools. Travel to job sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• 1–3 years of experience; construction environment preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management in permits, proposals, contracts, schedules, and change orders.
• Review specifications and drawings to prepare subcontractor scopes.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and submittals, maintain logs.
• Manage project materials, vendor relations, and invoice processing.
• Coordinate punch list and closeout documentation with PM and Superintendent.
