Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a Fabricator for the Fire Fabrication Shop, responsible for fabricating pipe for fire protection systems.

You will read drawings, interpret instructions, operate shop machinery, assemble parts, and verify measurements to ensure proper fit and function. This role requires reliability, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work extended hours including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure to ¼”.
• Must be dependable and have good attendance.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a shop environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions.
• Use various machinery and interpret assembly instructions.
• Verify specifications and ensure parts fit and are screwed properly.
• Troubleshoot issues and help with repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
