Shambaugh & Son is seeking a 1st Shift Fabricator for the Fire Fabrication Shop to fabricate pipe for fire protection systems. The role requires reading a tape measure, reliability, and the ability to work Saturdays and extended shifts.

Responsibilities include using various machinery, interpreting instructions, and ensuring parts are assembled per specs. Join a leading MEPT contractor with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure to ¼”.
• Be dependable with good attendance.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
• Able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
• Able to work Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to follow directions and communicate with others.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 8–12 hour shifts.
• Regular and reliable attendance, including extended hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions.
• Read parts lists and verify all parts are present.
• Use various machinery safely.
• Interpret measurements and verify specifications.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Report production errors to supervision.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
