Job summary

Shambaugh & Son is seeking a 2nd Shift Fabricator for the Fire Fabrication Shop to fabricate pipe for fire protection systems. Responsibilities include reading assembly instructions, interpreting measurements, and assembling pipe per specifications.

The role requires standing for 8-12 hour shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working Saturdays. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure down to ¼".
• Must be dependable with good attendance.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to communicate ideas verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Use various machinery to fabricate and assemble pipe per instructions.
• Study and interpret assembly instructions and read parts lists.
• Interpret measurements and verify specifications.
• Assemble tools, materials, and components; ensure proper fit and fastenings.
• Report production errors and assist with troubleshooting as needed.
