Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NICET certification required or achievable.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, and climb stairs for extended periods.
• Basic mechanical, electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding, lifts.
• Must be mechanically inclined.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems, fire alarm systems, and extinguishers.
• Troubleshoot wet-based fire systems and describe issues to owners and managers.
• Learn NFPA 25 inspections for Wet, Dry, Deluge, and Pre-Action Sprinklers.
• Learn NFPA 72 inspections for Fire Alarm systems and components.
• Learn NFPA 25 inspections for Standpipe systems and hydrants.
• Learn NFPA 10 inspections for Fire Extinguishers.
• Learn to submit work tickets and inspection reports on time.
• Learn to self-schedule daily inspections.
• Learn to upsell the Company's capabilities to customers.
• Pass OSHA certification for inspections from lifts at 30–40 feet.
• Learn to perform annual inspections on domestic and fire backflows.
