Job summary

S.A. Comunale Co., Inc. is seeking an Inspector Trainee to perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems, fire alarm systems, and fire extinguishers.

Travel to customer sites is required, and you will work in a fast-paced environment focused on customer development and service quality. You will learn to perform NFPA 25, NFPA 72, NFPA 10 inspections, complete tickets and inspection reports, and schedule daily inspections while supporting upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and strong communication to support clients and teams.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to learn NFPA standards and company procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability.
• Comfort working at heights and using ladders/scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Perform NFPA-based inspections of water-based fire systems, fire alarm systems, and fire extinguishers.
• Learn NFPA 25/72/10 inspection procedures for various systems.
• Describe system conditions to owners and service managers for repairs.
• Schedule daily inspections and submit tickets/reports on time.
• Assist with upselling the company’s capabilities to customers.
