State Systems in Memphis, TN is seeking a Fire Protection Sales/Service Technician who thrives on fieldwork and independent action while collaborating with a team.

You will sell services and products, prospect new clients, present proposals, and support customers with installation and servicing of fire protection equipment, emergency lighting, and suppression systems. A hands-on mechanical mindset helps you succeed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on ability.

Responsibilities

• Sell services and products within the assigned territory while meeting sales/service quotas.
• Identify prospects and generate leads using creative methods.
• Present proposals and highlight advantages over competitors.
• Inspect, service, install fire extinguishers and fire/safety systems.
• Process work orders and paperwork according to procedures.
