Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering, or related discipline.
• PE license required; travel may be required depending on duties.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency varies by project.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection engineering designs including layouts, basis-of-design, water supply analyses, and detailed plans for sprinkler and suppression systems, pumps, and alarms.
• Act as QFPE for federal projects, performing life safety and fire protection analyses.
• Review designs for compliance with NFPA, UFC, and local regulations; sign off on designs.
