You will design fire protection systems, serve as QFPE on federal work, ensure NFPA/UFC compliance, mentor junior staff, and collaborate on proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering or related discipline; PE preferred.
• PE license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Develop fire protection designs including water supply analyses and sprinkler systems.
• Act as QFPE for federal projects and provide life safety analysis.
• Review designs for NFPA/UFC compliance and sign off.
• Create fire protection and life safety designs and evaluations (eg egress analysis).
• Evaluate systems using HydraCAD/HydraCALC.
