Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer in Atlanta, GA to ensure structural safety during fire events by applying engineering principles to design sprinkler and fire alarm systems. The role emphasizes building-code compliance, risk analysis, and evacuation planning.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in fire protection engineering or related field, has 1–3 years of design experience, and may pursue PE licensure. Proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in fire protection engineering or a closely related engineering field required.
1-3 years of fire protection design experience.
E.I.T. certification preferred but not required.
PE certification or active pursuit of licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

Produces highly detailed, coordinated construction drawings across all disciplines.
Integrates into a highly technical team and consistently delivers high‑quality work.
Designs compliant and effective fire protection systems and fire alarm systems.
Assists with submittal reviews, RFIs, and construction‑phase documentation.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and/or AutoCAD.
