CM Mission Critical Engineering in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to apply engineering principles to protect people, property, and operations from fire and smoke. You will design fire protection and fire alarm systems, ensure building code compliance, and develop evacuation plans.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in fire protection or a related field, 1–3 years of design experience, and be proficient in Revit or AutoCAD and MS Office.
The Fire Protection Engineer is responsible for ensuring structural integrity & safety during fire events, utilizing science & engineering principles to protect people, property, & businesses from fire & smoke. This role involves analyzing fire risks to design specialized systems like sprinklers & alarms, ensuring building code compliance, & developing evacuation plans.
