Job summary

Shambaugh & Son L.P. is on the lookout for a Fire Protection Sprinkler Designer located in Aurora, Illinois. You will be responsible for designing layouts using AutoCAD and HydraCAD, while conducting hydraulic calculations to ensure project specifications are met. Your role will also include working collaboratively with team members and clients.

This position demands a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, strong analytical skills, and experience with AutoCAD. The compensation range is competitive at $60k - $65k, with bonuses available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Flexibility and reliability in attendance.

Responsibilities

• Design layouts for Fire Sprinkler systems.
• Interpret contract documents and construction drawings.
• Conduct hydraulic calculations.
• Develop relationships with customers for satisfaction.
• Model fire sprinkler designs and conduct field surveys.
