Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or construction disciplines.
• 7+ years in fire protection design or related field.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and hydraulic calculations.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and work extended hours.
• Must maintain regular attendance and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of fire sprinkler systems.
• Read, analyze and interpret contract documents.
• Plan, coordinate and present to individuals and groups.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and project cost analysis.
• Develop relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, AutoSprink, and Revit.
• BIM modeling and field surveying.
• Coordinate between trades; provide fabrication lists.
• Other duties as assigned.
