Job summary

South Western Communications seeks a Fire Project Manager (SWC - Operations) to plan, direct, and control complex low voltage system projects from inception to completion. Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• PMP or IT Project+ certification desirable.
• NICET, Edwards certifications preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in engineering and installation of low voltage or related systems.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a proven track record of engaging customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Strong organizational, subcontracting, and financial management skills.
• Experience with IT-related equipment and systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans and schedules for engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities.
• Maintain up-to-date job plans and specifications, collaborating with engineering during design and drafting phases.
• Coordinate procurement and ensure timely delivery of materials, supplies, and services.
• Prepare, manage, and execute detailed project installation plans and provide regular progress updates to customers.
• Communicate changes to project scope with stakeholders to ensure transparency and buy-in.
• Supervise installers, apprentices, and subcontractors to uphold quality and client standards.
• Maintain comprehensive digital records for all project aspects.
• Oversee project closeout activities and handover to service teams.
