Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is seeking a Fire Prevention & Safety Officer to inspect facilities, identify fire hazards, and enforce safety regulations. This role supports security for patients, staff, and visitors and may involve directing traffic and responding to incidents.
We offer full-time shifts with two opening times, 6:30am–5:00pm and 1:00pm–11:30pm, and competitive hourly pay levels for Level I and II.

Incumbents are assigned responsibilities, involving the inspection of buildings and grounds for elimination of fire hazards, enforcement of laws, rules and regulations and providing security at Griffin Memorial Hospital. Typical work duties may include patrolling assigned premises to identify and correct fire hazards; providing assistance to employees or visitors; directing traffic; and performing other duties related to the protection of state property, employees, visitors and others.
This is a Full-time shift position 2 positions available!
Opening 1: 6:30am to 5:00pm
Opening 2: 1:00pm to 11:30pm
Annual Salary: Level I: $14.18/hourly Level II: $15.14/hourly

Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is an ODMHSAS treatment center serving all 77 counties in Oklahoma. We specialize in community crisis stabilization and residential treatment for individuals facing substance abuse, co-occurring mental health disorders, and trauma-related conditions.
