Job summary

The City of Hampton seeks a qualified professional to revise and develop Standard Operating Procedures for review by senior management and to craft performance indicators for the Fire Accreditation process.

The role may supervise others and works under close supervision to ensure compliance with established procedures. Responsibilities include research, documentation, reporting, and collaboration with regional agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field such as Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or Statistics.
• At least two years of full-time analytical experience including research, data compilation, and statistical analysis.
• Combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Revise and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and control systems.
• Research and analyze fire service operations using industry standards and regulations.
• Prepare reports, MOAs/MOUs, and other formal documents for partner agencies.
