Job summary

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and 1–2 years of related experience, with Virginia EMT-Advanced certification, CPR, and Firefighter II

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
• Vocational/technical training in emergency medical services or firefighting.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls to provide emergency medical care and transport; performs basic and advanced life support.
• Operates mobile medical units and ambulances; conducts patient assessment and essential procedures.
• Provides on-site and in- transit life-saving care under medical direction.
