Responsibilities

Respond to emergency medical calls and provide basic life support; transport patients to medical facilities.
Perform primary/secondary patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
Operate life support equipment and administer medications as directed.
Drive ambulances to emergency scenes and during patient transport.
Respond to fire alarms, operate fire pump, and perform rescue operations.
Assist in handling hazardous materials incidents and decontamination as needed.
Conduct training, maintain equipment, and keep records and reports.
