Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer/Control Systems Engineer to join the Fab 62 project in Chandler, AZ. You will conduct field investigations and cost estimates for control systems, lead design and evaluation of system components, and ensure compliance with safety and project standards.

You will coordinate with the engineer of record, manage responses to field change notices, and support procurement and construction activities to meet schedule and budget on this

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
• Extensive knowledge of life safety and emergency communication systems including EVACS/ECS, air-sampling smoke detection, IB‑PSC/ERRC, and toxic gas monitoring.
• Strong communication, planning and organizational skills; experience with field change notices and design change notices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Engineering and Construction/Procurement activities under the Resident Engineering Manager.
• Lead design, development, modification, and evaluation of control systems components and processes.
• Ensure facilities and systems are installed per engineering specifications.
• Perform site walkdowns and resolve field questions related to change notices.
