Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking an experienced Estimator to support the bidding and design process, including preliminary system layout and project design for estimating. The role involves coordinating with sales staff, preparing documents, and maintaining accurate records for opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have strong organization, communication, and teamwork skills, with experience in design standards and codes relevant to fire protection projects.

Qualifications

• 5 years of estimating experience required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand construction fundamentals and read drawings.
• Prepare and manage Excel/Word documents for estimates.
• Collaborate with sales staff to prepare accurate estimates.
• Enter data for companywide project tracking.
