Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a security professional to observe and report activities at a client site in New York. The position requires standing for most of the workday and involves routine tours to ensure safety and order.

The role emphasizes effective communication, access control, and the ability to respond to incidents. Scheduling is Sunday through Thursday, with overtime and weekend work often required.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Security Guard License. Experience in hotel FLSD preferred.
• T-89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License required or preferred.
• Associates or higher degree in fire/security related field recommended.

Responsibilities

• Conduct multiple tours of the facility during shift.
• Operate radio/telephone equipment and console monitors.
• Interact cordially with the public and maintain professional conduct.
• Maintain proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
• Identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Assist residents/customers with access control issues.
• Tour the facility multiple times per shift.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sunday-Thursday 0700-1500

Pay Range

Up to USD $29.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Multiple Tours of the facility during your shift

Qualifications

• Valid T-89 OR F89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License
• Valid NYS Security Guard License Minimum 2 years Hotel FLSD experience. *Preferred*
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field. (Preferred not required)
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Protective security experience a plusTechnical working knowledge of building systems.
