Job summary

We are seeking an Experienced Fire Life Safety Director to oversee the lobby, manage access, and coordinate alarm and emergency procedures.

The role requires current NYS security license, T89/F89 or Z89 licensing as applicable, and at least 1 year of FLSD experience; schedule includes day and evening shifts with weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Current T89 or F89 license is required.
• Current Z89 license (may be acceptable with +3 security experience).

We provide a comprehensive range of essential facility management services to over 1,000 clients across various sectors, inclusive of commercial and government buildings, residential communities, schools, industrial facilities, transportation hubs, and retail outlets throughout the East Coast and New England.

Job description

• Manning the command station as well as the lobby desk.
• Ensuring visitors are signing in.
• Greeting employees, visitors, vendors, etc.
• Directing lobby traffic.
• Maintain surveillance and reporting of any suspicious persons and/or packages.
• Making announcements.
• Responding to alarms (supervisory, trouble and fire).
• Carrying out EAP and fire plans when necessary.

• Current Z89 (May be acceptable if combined with +3 security experience).
• 1 year FLSD experience.

Pay: $30.00 per hour and up based on experience.
