Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to observe and report activities at client sites, ensuring the safety of people and property while enforcing site rules.

The role requires standing for long periods and performing regular patrols across the premises. Responsibilities include multiple tours, radio/console operation, assisting residents with access control, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid T-89 or F89 FDNY Fire Life Safety Director License.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License Minimum 2 years Hotel FLSD experience (preferred).
• Associate or higher degree in a fire/security related field (preferred not required).
• Physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
• Protective security experience a plus; technical working knowledge of building systems.

Responsibilities

• Multiple Tours of the facility during your shift.
• Operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors.
• Interact cordially and communicate with the public.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.
• Assist residents/customers with access control issues.
• Tour the entire facility multiple times per shift.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Tuesday - Saturday 3pm to 11pm

Pay Range

Up to USD $29.00/Hr.
