Job summary

WSP is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in the Fire & Life Safety specialty to join our Houston office, with consideration for Arlington, VA; Columbia, MD; Dallas, TX; New York, NY; and Boston, MA. You will work with the Fire & Life Safety team to manage projects from setup through completion, coordinating with architects and engineers on complex, national and international efforts.

You will monitor schedules, costs, and KPIs, support client communications and QA/QC, and help drive proposals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, architecture, engineering, science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role.

Responsibilities

• Set up projects in internal systems; convert opportunities to billable jobs and coordinate add-service requests.
• Lead engineering teams to deliver multiple projects concurrently.
• Develop and maintain project workplans, schedules and task tracking, with stakeholder follow-up.
