Century Fire Protection is seeking an experienced field technician to inspect, test, and maintain fire alarm systems in Austin–Round Rock, TX. You will verify the operation of control panels, detectors, pull stations, and notification devices, while ensuring adherence to NFPA standards and local codes.
The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 2–4 years of related experience; NICET II/III is preferred.

Responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and manufacturer specifications.
Other duties may be assigned.
High School Diploma or GED; 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. NICET Level II or III preferred.
Microsoft Office, Word & Excel.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods of time; ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis; ability to work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts; ability to work in confined spaces or environments with varying temperatures and conditions. Manual dexterity to operate hand tools, testing instruments, and small components. Visual acuity to read diagrams, labels, and test results, and to distinguish color-coded wiring; hearing ability sufficient to detect alarm signals, audible devices, and communicate effectively in noisy environments; Ability to work in environments with flashing or strobe lights during system testing. Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license.
