The role involves fire suppression, hazmat containment, patient care coordination, and detailed incident reporting. Must meet EMR certification and security officer licensing; prior firefighting or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency scenes including fire, medical, bomb threats, flooding, and other incidents.
• Arrives on scene, performs scene size up, relays information to dispatch and supervisor.
• Performs rescue procedures including vehicle and machinery extrication and high/low angle rescues.
• Performs fire suppression using apparatus, hydrants, hoses, and extinguishers.
• Responds to hazardous material emergencies and containment efforts.
• Assists medical emergencies, conducts patient assessment and stabilization, and transport to clinic.
