Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in Princeton, Indiana is seeking a highly trained emergency response professional responsible for on-scene assessments, hazardous materials handling, and medical patient transport coordination.

You will perform rescue operations, fire suppression, triage, and standard security duties, while ensuring accurate incident logs and coordination with dispatch and supervisors.

Qualifications

• NFPA Firefighter 1 and 2 certification required.
• Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations certification required.
• National Registry or State EMT/EMR certification required; out-of-state certifications must be transferable to Indiana and completed within 90 days of hire.
• Must meet state, county and local EMT/EMR certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency scenes including fire, medical, bomb threats, flooding and other incidents.
• Performs scene size-up and relays information to dispatch and supervisor.
• Performs rescue procedures including vehicle and machinery extrication; high/low angle rescue.
• Engages in fire suppression using apparatus, hydrants, hoses and extinguishers.
• Responds to hazardous material incidents with spill containment measures.
• Assesses and stabilizes patients; transports to onsite medical clinic when needed.
• Relays patient information to medical personnel and documents treatments.
• Administers medical treatments following established protocols.
• Performs mass casualty triage and prioritization.
• Provides standard security duties and logs/report irregularities.
