• Must maintain EMR certification per Indiana requirements.
• Must meet licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Ability to learn security operations and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies including fire, medical, bomb threats, and other incidents.
• Arrive on scene, perform scene size up, relay to dispatch and supervisor.
• Carry out rescue and fire suppression activities as needed.
• Contain spills for hazardous materials and transport patients if required.
• Relay patient information to medical personnel and assist with care.
• Perform triage during mass casualty incidents.
• Provide standard security duties: unlock doors, escorts, patrols, report irregularities.
• Prepare logs and reports; undertake other duties as assigned.
