City in Kentucky is seeking a Fire Data Analyst and Technology Specialist to support data requests, GIS mapping, and incident reporting. The role focuses on driving data-informed decisions, maintaining RMS and GIS systems, and producing dashboards for leadership.

The position requires building accurate reports, analyzing trends, and ensuring readiness for ISO/OSHA reviews. Work hours are standard with potential after-hours duties, and the salary range is publicly listed.

Qualifications

Experience querying records management systems and generating reports.
Ability to develop dashboards and monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
Familiarity with CAD, GIS data, and incident reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

Respond to data requests from command staff by querying RMS and creating reports.
Gather data and prepare surveys and reports on monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
Develop dashboards showing real-time metrics and trends for command staff.
Analyze incident data to identify high-risk locations and recurring hazards.
Provide GIS mapping support and maintain GIS datasets for reports.
Review data accuracy and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
Maintain readiness for ISO and OSHA reviews and grant audits.
Create specialized reports for training needs and resource planning.
Monitor unit utilization, apparatus usage, and station workload.
