Job summary

Rainbow Restoration in Greenville, SC is seeking a Fire & Contents Project Manager to lead restoration projects from intake to completion. You will coordinate schedules, supervise technicians, communicate with customers and insurance adjusters, prepare estimates, and ensure timely, profitable results while supporting contents moving and pack-outs.

The role combines leadership, field operations, and client service to deliver high-quality outcomes during difficult times.

Qualifications

  • Experience with restoration software (Alacrity, Xactimate, DASH or similar).
  • Fire restoration and contents handling experience preferred.
  • Estimating experience and ability to write/ audit estimates.
  • IICRC certifications preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee fire, smoke, contents, and restoration projects from intake to completion.
  • Coordinate schedules, supervise technicians, and manage documentation and estimates.
  • Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters; ensure timely, profitable project delivery.
  • Support contents moving, pack-outs, cleaning, and emergency services as needed.
  • Write, review, and audit estimates; maintain organized job files and records.

This position is responsible for coordinating schedules, managing technicians, communicating with customers and insurance adjusters, handling documentation and estimates, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently, accurately, and profitably.This role combines leadership, operations, customer service, field work, and project management responsibilities while supporting contents moving, pack-outs, cleaning, restoration, and emergency services.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCommunicate professionally with adjusters, customers, vendors, and colleaguesBuild incoming jobs in operational systems with accurate information for dispatch and scheduling servicesEstablish and maintain service schedules to ensure services are delivered timely while maintaining profitabilitySupervise Fire & Contents Technicians, including training, coaching, and performance managementAssist with scheduling and dispatching field services and emergency response callsNotify customers regarding service status, scope of work, timelines, necessary paperwork, and quality assurance updatesPerform inspections and manage scope of work on job sites before, during, and after work is performedOversee contents pack-outs, furniture moving, inventory documentation, cleaning processes, and contents manipulation throughout projectsEnsure contents are handled, packed, transported, and stored safely to prevent damageWork alongside field technicians when needed to support fire, smoke, and water lossesExecute timely, accurate, and profitable estimatesWrite, review, and audit estimates for accuracy and completenessMaintain clear and organized job documentation, electronic notes, and communication recordsOversee all job files to ensure approvals are received from insurance companies and customersPromptly respond to communications related to customer requests, business demands, and job status updatesEnsure all dispatched jobs are answered and handled in a timely mannerMaintain company equipment, supplies, and operational readinessPerform additional duties as needed, including field work and cross-functional supportRequirements & SkillsExperience with restoration software such as Alacrity, Xactimate, DASH, or similar systemsFire restoration and contents handling experienceEstimating experienceIICRC Certifications preferredAbility to multi-task and operate within multiple systems simultaneouslyStrong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong documentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPassion for helping customers during difficult situationsWillingness to roll up your sleeves and support field operations when neededValid Driver’s License with a safe driving recordAbility to pass a drug test and extensive background screeningWhy Join Rainbow Restoration?At Rainbow Restoration, we believe in investing in our employees and creating long-term career opportunities.
