Job summary

Rainbow Restoration is seeking a Fire & Contents Moving Technician to pack, move, clean and protect customer contents during fire, smoke, water, and restoration-related losses. This hands-on role requires a self-driven, enthusiastic team player who can engage with customers in challenging situations.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with physical work, lifting up to 100 pounds, and carrying PPE. The position offers competitive pay and growth opportunities within the restoration team.

Qualifications

• Able to lift and move up to 100 pounds frequently.
• Comfortable with walking, standing, bending and PPE throughout the day.
• Excellent communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Carefully pack, wrap, move and transport contents to prevent damage.
• Load and unload contents from homes, businesses, and vehicles.
• Photograph, label, and inventory contents accurately.
• Clean smoke residue from contents and structures.
• Assist with contents handling during restoration projects.
• Provide post-job site cleaning and maintain organized work areas.
• Maintain equipment and supplies in ready-to-use condition.
