Team-Oriented EnvironmentPosition SummaryThe Operations Manager oversees all branch operations within the assigned territory while ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, profitably, and above industry standards.This role is expected to create high levels of customer satisfaction, fulfill company contractual obligations through timely and profitable delivery of services, coordinate schedules and dispatch services, oversee team performance and operational workflows, maintain documentation and billing standards, and help train and develop future leaders within the Rainbow team.The Operations Manager serves as the operational point person for mitigation, fire & contents, reconstruction coordination, customer communication, estimating, subcontractor management, technician development, and overall branch performance.This is a leadership role that still requires a hands-on operational mindset and field involvement when needed.Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day branch operations involving water mitigation, mold remediation, fire & contents restoration, reconstruction coordination, and emergency response servicesEstablish and maintain service schedules to ensure all services are delivered efficiently while meeting customer demand and profit margin expectationsSupervise technicians, field supervisors, project managers, coordinators, and operational staff including training, coaching, development, and performance management in conjunction with leadership teamsPerform inspections and manage scope of work on job sites before, during, and after work is completedExecute timely, accurate, and profitable estimatesWrite, review, and audit estimates to ensure accuracy, profitability, and operational qualityOversee all job files to ensure proper documentation, insurance approvals, customer authorizations, billing accuracy, and operational notes are maintainedPromptly respond to all communications related to customer requests, business demand, escalated situations, and job status updatesEnsure all dispatched jobs are responded to in a timely and professional mannerMaintain and build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, adjusters, property managers, and referral partnersManage subcontractors on reconstruction and restoration projects while monitoring performance, budgets, and completion standardsAssist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and development of operational team membersWork alongside leadership to develop operational business plans, growth strategies, department goals, and training initiativesMonitor operational KPIs, profitability, customer satisfaction, workflow efficiency, and branch performance metricsEnsure compliance with OSHA standards, IICRC standards, company procedures, PPE requirements, and hazardous material handling guidelinesIdentify operational issues, staffing challenges, safety concerns, and workflow inefficiencies proactively while implementing solutionsMaintain accurate operational reports and communicate issues, trends, and updates to leadership teamsAssist with emergency response operations and support field teams during high-demand situations when neededPerform mitigation or rebuild duties alongside technicians and operational teams as business demands requireTravel throughout assigned territory and support other locations when operationally necessaryPerform additional operational and leadership duties as assignedRequirements & SkillsMinimum 3+ years of restoration industry experience including mitigation and/or reconstruction management preferredPrevious leadership, branch management, operations management, or project management experience preferredStrong understanding of water mitigation, mold remediation, fire & contents restoration, reconstruction coordination, estimating, and operational workflowsXactimate experience requiredMICA, Symbility, Alacrity, DASH, and/or Time & Materials experience preferredWRT, ASD, and AMRT certifications requiredJourneyman or Master IICRC certifications preferredStrong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to lead teams while maintaining a hands-on operational mindsetExcellent customer service and relationship management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and operational demands simultaneouslyComfortable working in both office and field environmentsComputer literate with working knowledge of spreadsheets, estimating software, business systems, and operational reporting toolsComfortable working in confined spaces such as
