  • Annual fire and life safety inspections of licensed commercial properties to safeguard employees, customers, and the public.
  • Inspect approximately 500 properties per year to ensure compliance with adopted fire codes.
  • Provide fire code expertise during building plan reviews for new construction, remodels, and tenant improvements.
  • Review fire alarm and suppression system submittals for compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Conduct fire-related investigations as needed and maintain detailed records and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Fire Chief, Building Official, and other city staff to support community safety and regulatory compliance.
