Job summary

Convergint is seeking a motivated Fire Alarm Technician for full-time work on assigned projects in the United States. You will install, program, test, commission, and document fire alarm systems, while coaching teammates and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates will have NICET II, a valid low voltage license, and experience with Edwards systems; travel locally may be required, with a competitive hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or equivalent experience.
• NICET Level II in Fire Alarm Systems.
• Local/State electrical license.
• Associate degree in Electronics (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission fire alarm systems on assigned projects.
• Provide customer training and document all work performed.
• Coordinate with project team to ensure codes and standards compliance.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues and share knowledge.
