Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Technician to install, program, start-up, test, and commission fire alarm systems on assigned projects. You will train customers and provide documentation, working with a collaborative team to meet codes and standards.

The role requires travel to jobsites and a commitment to safety and quality. Candidates should have NICET II or equivalent licensing and be prepared for ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire alarm systems installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Willingness to travel locally to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up and test fire alarm systems.
• Provide customer training and complete documentation for projects.
• Collaborate with engineering and project managers to ensure code compliance.
