Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Technician to install, program, start-up, test and commission fire alarm systems on assigned projects including more complex ones. You will also train customers, document work, and support project teams while mentoring junior colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Willing to learn fire alarm/electronic security systems; travel locally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, start-up, test and commission fire alarm systems on assigned projects.
• Provide customer training and complete all project documentation.
• Coordinate with Project/Operations Managers and mentors for less-experienced staff.
