Job summary

Next Level Technician in Cary, NC is seeking a Low Voltage Fire Alarm Technician to install, diagnose and service fire alarm systems. You will pull, terminate and label cabling, read blueprints, and ensure NEC/NFPA code compliance.

This role offers weekly pay and a competitive hourly wage of $23-$30, with opportunities for growth and training. Travel to job sites across North Carolina as needed, with benefits and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

3+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems.
Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes).
Experience troubleshooting panels, devices, and programming systems (Edwards, Silent Knight, FireLite, etc. a plus).
NICET Certification is a PLUS; Basic hand tools and PPE required.

Responsibilities

Pull, terminate, dress, and label fire alarm cable.
Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment.
Terminate fire alarm panels and devices.
Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints.
Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems.
Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights).
Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites.
