Job summary

Next Level Technician in Kennesaw, GA is seeking a Low Voltage Fire Alarm Technician to contribute to commercial and industrial projects. Earn $27-$35/hr with weekly pay, medical benefits, sign-on & referral bonuses, and opportunities for advancement within a national low voltage staffing leader.

This role requires pulling and terminating cable, testing with proper equipment, panel and device terminations, blueprint interpretation, and travel to job sites as needed. Safety on site is a priority.

Qualifications

5+ years demonstrated work history/knowledge in Fire Alarm Systems.
Understanding of NEC and NFPA requirements (current codes).
Must be EST 3 or EST 4 certified; BICSI, Lift, and OSHA certifications a plus.
NICET Certification is a PLUS.
Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots).
Willingness to travel to job sites within Texas as needed.

Responsibilities

Pull, terminate, dress, and label fire alarm cable.
Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment.
Terminate fire alarm panels and devices.
Read and interpret fire alarm system layouts from blueprints.
Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems.
Work safely on ladders/lifts (comfortable with heights).
Support additional low voltage systems as needed at commercial and industrial sites (schools, hospitals, offices, warehouses, etc.).
