Job summary

Manatal is seeking experienced Fire Alarm / Intrusion Technicians in North Carolina. The role involves installing fire alarm and intrusion systems on large commercial projects. Technicians will work day shifts and travel regionally for 2–4 weeks at a time after orientation.

Ideal candidates will have over 2 years of experience in installation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to follow safety policies. A company vehicle will be provided after orientation.

We are seeking experienced Fire Alarm / Intrusion Technicians to support the installation of fire alarm and intrusion systems on large commercial project sites throughout North Carolina. This role involves hands‑on installation of devices and cabling, working primarily day shifts, with regional travel required. Technicians will travel for 2–4 weeks at a time in a company vehicle after completing orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Install fire alarm and intrusion system devices on large commercial sites
• Pull, route, terminate, and label low‑voltage cabling
• Install panels, detectors, pull stations, horn/strobes, and intrusion devices
• Read and follow drawings, layouts, and installation plans
• Perform basic testing and troubleshooting of installed systems
• Follow all job‑site safety policies and procedures
• Maintain clean and professional work areas

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience installing Fire Alarm and/or Intrusion systems
• Experience working on large commercial projects
• Ability to travel regionally within North Carolina for 2–4 weeks at a time
• Ability to work day shifts
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with systems such as Notifier, Simplex, Edwards, Fire‑Lite, Bosch, Honeywell, or DSC
• Experience installing intrusion, security, or access control systems
• Regional travel throughout North Carolina
• Company vehicle provided after orientation
