Qualifications

• 2–5 years as a fire alarm service technician with experience in programming EST 3 or EST 4 fire alarm systems or similar complexity.
• Solid technical skills and experience related to fire alarm systems and/or electronic security systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel locally to jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in testing, programming and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Assist in servicing of fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals and specifications.
• Work in accordance with local and national codes and company safety policies.
• Present a professional image of Convergint Technologies at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operations at the technology center.
