Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Fire Alarm Service Technician to service, program, and commission fire alarm and life safety systems. You will test, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment while following NRTL codes and safety policies.

The role supports a growth-focused culture and requires traveling locally to sites as needed. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Edwards/Honeywell systems, strong customer service skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience with fire alarm systems and electronic security systems required.
• Programming experience with fire alarm systems preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and hands-on skills.

Responsibilities

• Test, program, and commission fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Service and maintain fire alarm systems across sites.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and manuals.
• Ensure work complies with local and national codes and safety policies.
